The Staff

Auto Body Crafters’ expert staff has been through extensive technical and service oriented training in order to provide our customers with accurate estimates, quality workmanship, and friendly knowledgeable service. We also assist with insurance claims by corresponding and coordinating directly with your insurance company to streamline the repair process.  This page contains pictures and a little bit of information on the employees at Auto Body Crafters.

Dave Jackson

Dave Jackson, owner of Auto Body Crafters, got his start in the collision repair business in 1981 by working part time at a body shop while attending his 3rd year of school at S D Tech. His passion for repairing and customizing automobiles soon surpassed all else as he pursued a career in auto body and collision repair.
Auto Body Crafters originally began in 1993 in a 2-car garage as a part-time restoration business. In October 2000, we completed construction on our new 7500 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility. Today, we are continually adding new equipment and on-going technician training to keep abreast of the changes in the collision repair industry. Auto Body Crafters is not an average “production shop” and strives to maintain quality of workmanship in every job we perform.

Dave and Michaelle Jackson have been married since 1983 and have 2 grown daughters. Dave has been active in the Rushmore Lions Club for several years (President 2005-2006) and is currently serving as chairman on the Campaign SightFirst II committee. Dave and Michaelle show support of our youth with involvement in S D Tech’s Mini-Baja and Mini-Indy Program and also endorse other worthwhile community projects.
